MONITORS





MONITOR LIZARDS

** Monitors are CARNIVOROUS. NO VEGETABLES IN DIET.

Housing: 55 gallon. Always go with the biggest cage possible. The enclosure must be at the very least, large enough for your monitor to turn around and stretch out.

Habitat: Sturdy branches, ledges, shelves, ramps, and other decor to allow your pet to climb, bask, and explore. And places to hide.

Water: Shallow Bowl. For water monitors a kiddie pool to bathe in.

** Water Monitors will need a kiddie pool for it to bathe in.
** Have some Vitamin/Calcium D3 for their food.

Floor Bedding: wire mesh or cypress mulch substrate
Heat: 80 - 95°
 
Cooling Spot: 70-75°

Lighting:
UV / UVB lighting (12-14 hours)

Humidity: 80%

Heat:
Infrared Heat Lamp (NIGHT TIME)
